Fabio will delve into the dark intersection of true crime and gambling addiction, offering an insider's view into illegal operations. He will specifically discuss the current state of organized crime's use of professional athletes to influence betting and detail the shocking methods employed to run illegal gambling clubs, as lived by the book's protagonist, "JC."

April 7 is National Beer Day, commemorating the day that prohibition was ended by the Cullen-Harrison Act in 1933. Get ready to celebrate with this presentation from the Beer Can Museum! Museum Curator Kevin Logan will share a family-friendly presentation covering the challenges - and innovations - that led to the eventual canning of beer following Prohibition in 1933. An impressive assortment of cans from the museum, including some of the very first beer cans, will be shared, as well as novelty cans, folk art, TV and movie props, and more.

This presentation will serve as an approachable, unpretentious, and fundamental introduction to composting, including the dos and dont's, different types of composting systems you can use, how it really works, and why it benefits your garden and the Earth.
