You’ll need to pick up a referral card from the circulation desk at the Main or Valhalla Branch Library. Fill the card out, give it to a friend, and have them bring the completed referral card when they sign up. You will both be entered into the prize drawing! .
What do I need to sign up for a library card?
You will need photo ID and proof of residency or school attendance in Mount Pleasant to sign up for a (free) library card.
How old do you need to be to get a library card?
There is no minimum age to sign up for a library card, but a parent or legal guardian is required to sign anyone under 18 up for a library card. The parent or guardian will need to be present for the sign-up process and bring a valid library card or photo ID and proof of residency or school attendance within the Town of Mount Pleasant.
I’m not sure if I am eligible to get a MPPL library card, how would I know?
